Glensheen continues its new civic engagement series,
Next Topic: Women in Leadership
Glensheen Mansion, along with the UMD Office of Civic Engagement and the Duluth News Tribune, hosts another stimulating Chester Chat evening. Set in one of the most beautiful homes in the Northland, the series is a lively Ted Talk-styled event meant to be fast-paced and foster critical thinking.
The next Chester Chat, held Wednesday, March 26 will explore the topic of Women in Leadership Speakers are:
Duluth City Councilor: Emily Larson
Park State Bank President and CEO: Dale Lewis
Speaking to the Congdon take on the subject:
Glensheen Marketing Director: Lucie Amundsen
Doors open to historic Glensheen’s Winter Garden at 7:00 p.m. for a happy half-hour with the guest speakers.
Cookies and coffee are available for purchase, while the forum is free and open to the public.
Speakers start promptly at 7:30 p.m., each talking for approximately 10 minutes.
KUMD will be rebroadcasting the talk as a regular monthly feature.
Glensheen is a unit of the School of Fine Arts within the University of Minnesota Duluth.
